Twisters (2024) Movie full Review

Ever since Category 2 Tornado that landed Michigan last two months ago, this is exactly the film that will be perfect for Tornado season. This is where she crosses paths with Tyler Owens (Glen Powell), a charming and reckless social-media superstar who thrives on posting his storm-chasing adventures. These dynamic between Kate and Tyler adds an interesting layer to the story, providing both conflict and camaraderie. The film does have its shortcomings. Some critics have pointed out that it is less realistic than the original “Twister” in terms of storm-chasing and safety. It could be a thrilling adventure that combines compelling characters, stunning special effects, and a gripping storyline.

Twisters takes what worked best about the original movie and expands on it. The chemistry between the main cast is off the charts.  The story makes clear the objective from the beginning and doesn’t take its foot off the gas from there. It’s also nice to see some Oklahoma representation in a major production. However, the movie isn’t perfect, of course. Some of the story is predictable at times, characters motivations flip flop, and some of the science in the movie may just be movie magic. So if you feel these types of movies, chase them!

On the other side the personality and the story is a bit cliche but still make you cheer for the main lead. And i would say for a “disaster themed” movie, the story is quite good. Overall this is a MUST WATCH MOVIE IN THEATRE
