Story… A disaffected American-Nepali half Hindu-Muslim boy detours to Kathmandu on his way to find his father who he thinks has joined the war in Syria, but his Moral battle against a local don who kills his grandfather grounds him to the reality of his true relationships, and in the process, he reconnects with his root, culture and traditions of the Himalayan nation, which he had forgotten.

This movie feels like a classic. Authentic and technically very well executed with awesome action sequences. If you like classic swashbucklers the exotic feel of this movie will keep you wanting more. Hope they get a sequel.

Action is classic for a Nepali film. Story is bold for world cinema! Can’t wait for story to continue and see how the man from kathmandu faces the reality. This part is change and recruitment. Loved the subtle way director made main character transform through relationships, culture, rituals and dirt that is in every society.

A far cry from the boiler plate Nepali movies we have grown accustomed to in recent times, this movie pushes both cinematic and storytelling boundaries. Those accustomed to the usual song and dance sequences may have a harder time connecting with this film, but those of us who follow Hollywood, particularly the indie or action genre, will certainly enjoy this movie. Great action and visuals coupled with a thought provoking plot. Highly recommend!
