This movie is EXACTLY what Pakistani filmmaking needed. Finally, on original work of art that isn’t chasing item-songs, or trying to imitate Bollywood dramatism. This is a beautifully shot, and incredibly well written film and I genuinely cannot think of a single complaint. I can’t believe I was able to watch this in theatres in Canada. And the PUNJABI!! Hamza Ali Abbassi is LEGENDARY, and Fawad Khan is PHENOMENAL. The actors and their commitment to these roles shone through the movie and everything from the costumes, to the sets, to the dialogue is truly so well done. This is movie will leave Pakistan’s mark on the world! The Legend of Maula Jutt: TRULY LEGENDARY!
