This is a great thriller, but you have to pay attention to get all the twists and turns. It is not one where you can surf your phone. Not an issue as this will grab you Some say it is overly long and while I tend to agree, there was no point where we were checking our watches -it held us to the end.

It’s difficult to know where to start with what is wrong with this mash-up. The script; the plotting; the absurd errors; the direction and, most of all, the acting. All absolutely dreadful, sometimes laughable and regularly cringeworthy. A decent editor could have cut this to 90 minutes and made a half-decent film but, presumably, the working editor was as bad as everyone else.

This movie is not very good and the main character is an intensely unlikeable, misogynistic sex pest with no redeeming qualities to balance it out. The sex scenes were truly dreadful and painful to endure. Watching this film made me angry, but I persevered until the bitter end. I’m nothing if not tenacious.

The only thing that drove me insane was the female detective that spent 99% of the film whispering her dialogue, so I was forced to continually increase and decrease the volume. Until the one time she actually shouts unexpectedly in the film and nearly blows my ears out!! Speak up, woman!! I know you’re a tremendous actor because I’ve seen you in a lot of other British and Irish TV, so I have no idea what was going on here.
