National Treasure: Edge Of History S01 full Review

If any of you remember the 90’s, Disney was great at taking established successful stories and turning their sequels into junk. Lately all this Disney plus stuff has felt like that. Other than Star Wars, most of the marvel stuff, willow, and now this. I will still watch them but very disappointed. Mandalorian bad batch, and Andor have all been relatively huge successes compared to anything else original that Disney plus is putting out. National treasure started from cheesy but entertaining films. Nicholas cage made those movies fun. How can disney think they can do this without him? He is an icon!

A couple of the puzzles the main actress solved were just too random, and not really solvable, in my opinion. That being said, I’ve enjoyed the show and the characters. It moves quickly, has a similar feel to the movies, and I like the feel of the main actress, her drive, and reasons for pushing onward.

Funny, read a review that was almost exact opposite. Odd. But that is life. Wish they’d spent a bit more time on the puzzle parts, not relying on the characters intelligence as an out. She is smart. But the clues still have to be better laid out. Of course, felt the same way a couple times in the movies as well, so there you go. Enjoy it.
