I was a bit disappointed with the first movie so went into this one not expecting much. I am a huge Jason Statham fan so he was the draw card here for me. If you like Statham or shark movies you will not be disappointed with this film if you go into it expecting nothing but 2 hours of absolute BONKERS movie making!.

The movie starts a little bit uneven, but it elevates it on other things. Its a little derivative. It covers everything with the performances of the cast to bad the descision that they made with the cast from the first film are somehow a let down. Loving that they give us an action packed trailer but it is more overstuffed bonanza when you watch it. They decided to create a villian that is seemingly mance but truly forgettable. They changed the settings a little bit, not just dwelling in the ocean but created some beasts that can be incorporated in different environment. An enjoyable movie that elevates a little to nothing in its predecessor makes it a watchable summer movie.

Mildly interesting twist revealed way too early, not enough megalodon action, laughable CGI which is absolutely unacceptable for a 2023 movie, supporting cast is just like puppets, awful script, asinine direction, blatantly differs from source material and insults the source.
