Story… When a 12-year-old boy goes missing, lead investigator Greg Harper struggles to balance the pressure of the investigation and troubles with his wife, Jackie. This film is set in a small American town where police officer Greg Harper is leading the team investigating the disappearance of a child; evidence suggests a link to a previous series of disappearences… is there a copycat at work or did they get the wrong man? Meanwhile tensions are high in his home; after his wife Jackie’s infidelity his marriage isn’t going well and his teenage son Connor is more than a little angry. There have also been so strange occurrences in the house. As things take a violent turn Jackie starts worrying that Connor is to blame.

When I started watching this I expected a mildly creepy haunted house type film; most of the first half suggested this would be the case… then things get more interesting as we see many of the films events again; this time from another perspective. The more we learn about the nature of the ‘creepiness’ the greater the sense of danger. Once again I thought I knew where the film was going but again there are unexpected twists to come. Director Adam Randall does a fine job creating the sense of creepiness and danger. The cast is solid; particularly Jon Tenney, Libe Barer and Owen Teague. Overall I’d definitely recommend this to anybody wanting something with plenty of tension and genuinely unexpected twists.
