Story… In 1898, a prophecy warns the five remaining vampire clans in Europe that they need to unite or else they will become extinct, but joining forces is easier said than done. In the last decades the clans have been fighting one another in the clan-wars. Now the Elders need to set aside their hostile feelings so their young Heirs can attend the vampire school that is created on the ship The Elisabetha.

The Heirs will learn one another’s powers to become stronger than ever. They must learn to trust one another and work together if they are to beat Dracula, who has awakened after a long sleep. Alisa, 14, of the Vamalia clan needs to accept that she has a special connection to Dracula through the Spark. The Heirs face challenges they have never met before like attacks from the feared Redmasks, vampires controlled by Dracula, steering through storms, and facing vampire hunter Van Helsing. They need to survive every challenge because they’re on a quest and it’s up to Alisa and the other Heirs to save the world from eternal darkness.

Heirs of the Night S01 web series full Review

This series obviously aims on a young audience (maybe 12 – 19y old?) and as such it’s decent enough. The atmosphere is rather good, the acting is not great but ah well (a bit overdramatic, feels more like a stage play) but it lacks tension. If this series was made for an older public I’d say it fails and give it 3 stars. As it is, for youngsters, its good enough for 6 points.

Just relax and enjoy this kids’ series. u r not watching to see if this will be included in any awards show. just curious what story is about. good old vampire story with a different twist.

How did I not know about this series before now? Didn’t expect much from this show after watching the first episode, but few episodes in I was completely addicted. Bit of a slow start in season 1 but season 2 was amazing. Hoping for a season 3 soon!
