Sequels are rarely better than the original, but in this case, this sequel was just as good, and different, and may be more enjoyable to some than the first film. It nicely filled in some gaps left in the first film, and added more to the theme’s narrative. I enjoyed the first one and gave it a well deserved 8/10, and this one albeit a new story with new actors and new filmmakers filmed in another country simply compliments the first film, as is as enjoyable even without the A-list actors from the first film.

The story is surprisingly well balanced and thought out, with a nice flow and a constant sense of suspense throughout. All casting and performances were excellent, and the directing, cinematography and score were all spot on. This one is also deserving of an 8/10 from me, and I hope they capitalize on how they left the ending in this one for another possible sequel.
