This movie is a breath of fresh air from all the same old stereotypes. The perfect casting adds flavour to the movie. It’s a perfect movie which celebrates womanhood and sisterhood without demeaning anyone. The supporting cast and played their part very well. Marathi movies are a class apart from Bollywood due to the subtlety and nuances in the acting performance. The movie has connected so well with audiences that nearly all shows are housefull in prime metro cities.

Six sisters, all different attitudes and on not too good terms, decide to team up to participate in a ‘Mangalagaur’ dance competition. The practice sessions help them bond with each other and resolve not just their internal grudges but also fix some personal issues on the domestic front.

The latest Marathi blockbuster aptly titled Baipan Bhaari Deva (Being Woman is difficult) is a perfect nod to womenhood, highlighting their personal issues in a humourous way as well as offering a solution of personal bonding with kith and kin.
