Life can be easy – sometimes we can make it way more complicated that it needs to be. Even life threatening to at least some degree. Having said that, you still have to feel and root for the main characters for this to work. Giving them some flavor and some backstory always works its charm.

Having said that, the movie is an ordeal and not easy to watch. But it is not supposed to be. The question is, what would you do? This may not go to certain extremes (it is not that kind of movie), but the drama and the struggle are still real. I reckon this is based on a real story and real people, I cannot confirm how much of it really happened or was heightened for the movie. That always happens of course.
